Panama City Restaurant Equipment Installation

As an authorized service agent for Middleby Marshall, FAS was recenty hired to do a turnkey oven installation in an existing Pizza Hut restaurant in Panama City FL. The existing installation consisted of three stacked ovens inside of a floor to ceiling stainless steel enclosure. Each of the ovens weighed around 1300 lbs and the electrical and gas connections also needed to be updated at the same time. The tricky part of the project was to get the old ovens out and the new ovens installed and started up in one night so that the restaurant could re-open the next day without losing any business. This took careful coordination and planning to make sure we didn't run into any surprises in the middle of the night.

A team of technicians used engine hoists and a specially desinged frame to lift each oven and turn it on its side to fit it through the door. While we were removing the existing ovens and stainless steel enclosure, another contractor updated the gas and electrical connections. Using the same hoists and frames we carefully stacked and connected the new ovens. Once the new ovens were in place on techncian performed the performance checks and start-up while the rest of the team cleaned up the site and loaded the debris and old ovens for removal.
